The daily clean up!

Here's a glimpse of our day: The puppies have started enjoying their puppy mush! As soon as they begin eating mush, they not only make a mess but also their mothers stop cleaning up after them when they toilet. This requires a major cleaning session every day, along with several smaller clean-ups throughout the day, sometimes replacing their grass and beds as needed. I begin toilet training from 3 weeks old and find it highly effective—not only does it make cleaning easier (it's simpler to pick up poop from the grass than from their bedding!), but it also aids in their ongoing toilet training! By the time the puppies leave for their forever homes at 8-9 weeks, they are almost fully toilet trained! I receive excellent feedback on this from families, but it's truly a simple yet effective process. If families continue to follow my advice when the puppies come home, they have great success. My puppies go home with a comprehensive information booklet that I've written, covering topics like toileting, feeding, sleeping, crate training, desensitization, vet care, and more. I send this via email a couple of weeks before pick-up and include a hard copy in the puppy packs to ensure families have ample time to prepare and can ask any questions they might have before bringing their puppy home!
